Welcome to the Men’s Thematic Bible Reading Plan.
This is a 365-day thematic Bible reading plan centered on men, discipleship, mission, leadership, responsibility, spiritual character, and a life of calling.
This plan is especially prepared for men. It is designed to help men learn from Scripture how to become faithful followers of the Lord and live with godliness, courage, humility, responsibility, and purpose in the family, church, workplace, service, and mission.
At the same time, sisters who are interested in these themes are also welcome to participate. If you would like to learn more deeply from Scripture about discipleship, mission, spiritual leadership, responsibility, character formation, or the spiritual calling of men in the family, church, and society, this plan can also be helpful for you.
Our prayer is that this Bible reading plan will not only help men grow, but also help more brothers and sisters learn together from God’s Word about faithfulness, courage, humility, service, responsibility, and mission, so that each person may live a life that pleases God in the place where He has called them.
Men often face many real and important questions in their journey of faith: identity and responsibility, character and temptation, marriage and family, work and money, church and service, discipleship and mission, leadership and spiritual responsibility.
The Bible contains many stories of men, as well as many teachings about responsibility, courage, humility, wisdom, service, and mission. Some men became examples of faith. Others show us weakness, failure, repentance, and the grace of God.
This plan is designed to help men come to God’s Word not in a general or vague way, but with real-life situations and spiritual calling before them. May God’s Word shape our character, renew our lives, and guide us to follow the Lord faithfully in our families, churches, workplaces, and the world.
We will learn from men in the Bible about faith, responsibility, weakness, repentance, obedience, courage, wisdom, leadership, and the calling of God.
From Adam, Abel, Enoch, and Noah to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph; from Moses, Joshua, David, and Solomon to the prophets, apostles, and disciples in the early church, we will see how God worked in different men’s lives.
These men were not perfect heroes. They were real people. Their faith, failures, choices, and responses can help us reflect more deeply on how God calls men today to become people after His own heart.
The Men’s Thematic Bible Reading Plan will help us reflect on what it means to become disciples of Christ.
A disciple is not merely someone who knows biblical information. A disciple is someone who follows the Lord, learns from the Lord, obeys the Lord, and lives out His teaching in everyday life.
This theme will help men learn to follow Jesus in Bible reading, prayer, obedience, self-denial, service, perseverance, spiritual discipline, and walking alongside others as they grow.
God calls His people not to live only for themselves, but for His kingdom and the mission of the gospel.
This plan will help us see God’s heart for all nations, the commission of the gospel, the call to mission, the mission of the church, and the witness of every believer in the family, workplace, community, and world.
May men consider again before God: Why has God placed me where I am today? How can I glorify Him, serve others, and bear witness to the gospel?
Biblical leadership is not about pursuing status. It is about learning faithfulness, humility, service, and responsibility before God.
This plan will help men reflect on spiritual leadership, including leadership in the family, service in the church, witness in the workplace, and responsibility in relationships.
True leadership that pleases God is not about controlling others, but first being governed by God. It is not about exalting oneself, but being willing to become a servant.
A man’s growth is not only about outward ability. It is also about inward character.
This plan will help us reflect on spiritual character such as the fear of God, faithfulness, honesty, self-control, purity, courage, humility, patience, compassion, righteousness, and wisdom.
May God’s Word help men stand firm in temptation, trust God under pressure, remain faithful in responsibility, repent in failure, and serve with humility.
Faith is not lived out only in church. It is also lived out in the family, marriage, parenting, work, money, time management, relationships, and daily choices.
This plan will help men reflect on how to live out God’s Word in real life, learning to be husbands, fathers, sons, friends, coworkers, leaders, and servants.
May we live faithfully in every place where God has put us, not by our own strength, but by His grace.
If you desire to understand more deeply from God’s Word the responsibility, calling, character, service, and mission of men, this plan will help you enter Scripture step by step and learn to follow the Lord in real life.
If you are seeking God’s wisdom in marriage, family, parenting, and responsibility, this plan can help you reflect again on how to serve your family with love, truth, prayer, and example.
If you are seeking direction in work, service, leadership, decision-making, pressure, and challenges, this plan will help you learn from Scripture how to fear God, work faithfully, take responsibility, and bear witness to the Lord in different places.
This plan is also suitable for men’s small groups, discipleship groups, mission groups, workplace fellowships, church coworker training, or men’s fellowships.
You may follow the daily readings individually, or gather weekly to share insights, struggles, prayers, and applications from Scripture.
If sisters would like to learn more deeply from Scripture about discipleship, mission, spiritual leadership, responsibility, character formation, or the spiritual calling of men in the family, church, and society, they are also welcome to join.
Our hope is that brothers and sisters may understand, support, and build up one another in God’s Word, and together live lives that please Him.
Each day includes a selected Scripture passage to help you enter God’s Word around that day’s theme.
These passages will help us reflect on women’s lives, marriage, family, parenting, relationships, faith, and spiritual growth from different angles.
Each day has a clear theme to help you understand the focus of the reading.
The theme helps connect Scripture with life, so that we do not merely read the passage, but also consider how God’s Word speaks into our real situations.
The daily reflection helps you consider: How does this passage reveal God’s heart? What does it remind me about my life? How can I respond to God in my family, relationships, service, and daily life?
Each day also includes a prayer written according to the Scripture passage and theme.
These prayers help us not only read the Bible, but also respond to God, asking Him for wisdom, strength, comfort, faith, and an obedient heart.
After each day’s reading, we encourage you to reflect on one practical question:
What is God reminding me of through His Word today? Where can I learn to trust, repent, obey, communicate, forgive, accompany someone, or take action?

Follow the plan and read the Scripture passage for the day.
You may read in the morning, during a lunch break, in the evening, or at any quiet time that works well for you.
After reading the passage, pause and reflect on the day’s theme.
You may ask yourself: What is God reminding me of through this passage today? Where do I need to be searched, renewed, strengthened, or sent?
After reading Scripture, respond to God in prayer.
Ask the Lord to help you not only understand the truth, but also live it out in your family, church, workplace, service, mission, and daily choices.
You may use a devotional notebook to record daily insights, impressions, questions, and prayers.
When you look back after a year, you may see how God has shaped your character, strengthened your faith, and guided your calling step by step through His Word.
You may also invite another brother, a small group, a couple, a family, a fellowship group, or church coworkers to read together.
Reading Scripture together helps us remind one another, pray for one another, and walk this journey with greater strength.
This plan is mainly prepared for men, but it is not limited to men.
Anyone who is interested in discipleship, mission, leadership, responsibility, spiritual character, and a life of calling is welcome to participate.
