Welcome to July, Sister!
The home is one of the most powerful sanctuaries of ministry on earth. Whether as a biological mother, spiritual mother, grandmother, aunt, or mentor, God has given women a profound calling: to shape hearts, cultivate wisdom, and pass down an unfeigned legacy of faith.
This July, our thematic journey centers on the home, parenting, intergenerational wisdom, and God’s heart for children:
Stories of Parenting, Pain, and Purpose (7/1 – 7/12): Walk through historical narratives contrasting wise and tragic parenting—from Hannah’s joyful dedication of Samuel and Eli’s tragic failure with his sons, to David’s heartbreak over Absalom, the Shunammite mother’s resilient faith for her child, and Job’s intercessory prayers for his family.
Psalms and Proverbs for the Household (7/13 – 7/24): Immerse your mind in God’s architectural design for the home (Psalms 127 & 128) and practical Proverbs on discipline, instruction, parental joy, and King Lemuel’s mother passing down leadership wisdom (Proverbs 31:1–9).
Apostolic Guidance & Intergenerational Faith (7/25 – 7/28): Unpack Paul’s practical instructions on family harmony in Ephesians and Colossians, and celebrate the beautiful generational faith passed from grandmother Lois and mother Eunice to young Timothy.
Jesus and the Kingdom of Children (7/29 – 7/31): End the month gazing at Christ as He gathers little children in His arms, rebukes those who push them away, and warns against causing the vulnerable to stumble.
May the Word of God this month refresh your spirit, grant you divine patience in your home, and equip you to cultivate a lasting legacy of grace!
