September Reading Plan: Dandelion One-Year Themed Bible Reading Plan | Women’s Edition
A daily 15-minute devotional journey crafted for women pursuing peacemaking wisdom, royal courage, quiet hospitality, and the transforming grace of Christ. In September, we meet discerning women of the Old Testament—Abigail, the Shunammite, Huldah, and Queen Esther—before transitioning into the Gospel narratives. Walk alongside Mary in her surrender, Anna in her faithful waiting, and ordinary women who touched the hem of Jesus' garment, experiencing His healing, forgiveness, and restoring love. Welcome to September, Sister!
True wisdom is not loud or self-seeking; it is gentle, courageous, and deeply rooted in a quiet trust in God. Across every season, God equips women with discernment to preserve life, courage to speak truth to power, and faith that draws near to the Savior.
This September, our reading journey takes us through four deeply moving phases:
Wisdom, Discernment, and Crisis Intercession (9/1 – 9/4): Observe Abigail’s swift, peacemaking wisdom, Rizpah’s motherly devotion, and wise women who saved entire cities through counsel, teaching us how soft words turn away wrath.
Hospitality, Faith, and Prophetic Courage (9/5 – 9/14): Walk with the widows of Zarephath and Elisha’s day, the Shunammite woman who built a room for the prophet, the prophetess Huldah, and Queen Esther stepping into her destiny "for such a time as this."
The Personification of Wisdom and Comfort (9/15 – 9/19): Contemplate Lady Wisdom in Proverbs, the strength and dignity of Proverbs 31, Rachel weeping for her children, and the deep, redeeming heart of God over His people.
Surrender, Praise, and the Tender Touch of Christ (9/20 – 9/30): Witness Mary’s humble "Let it be to me according to your word," Anna’s persistent temple prayer, and broken, hurting women who reached out to Jesus in faith—finding healing, forgiveness, and unconditional restoration.
May the Word of God this month fill your heart with divine wisdom, blanket you with His tender comfort, and draw you ever closer to the feet of Jesus!
